Chapter 1
Tanzania
Tanzania is a country in East Africa that borders the Indian Ocean. It is home to Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain, and to Lake Victoria, Africa’s largest lake.
Chapter 2
Nairobi, Kenya
Nairobi is the largest city in the Republic of Kenya, a country in East Africa. Kenya is just north of the Republic of Tanzania.The Nairobi River runs through this very large city.
Chapter 3
Mount Kilimanjaro
Mount Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in all of Africa. Situated in Tanzania, it is actually a dormant volcano, which means that it has not erupted in thousands of years and is considered inactive.
Lake Victoria
Lake Victoria is one of the African Great Lakes. It sits between the three countries: Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania. The largest lake in all of Africa, and the third-largest fresh-water lake in the world, Lake Victoria holds many species of fish that cannot be found anywhere else on Earth.

Animals

Maasai
The Lambchops are helped along their journey by a Maasai family. The Maasi are a group of people who live in Kenya and Tanzania. They are usually nomadic, meaning they move from place to place as they herd cattle.
