Educational Value
Lit League offers award-winning book-themed activity boxes for kids ages three to twelve. Each reading adventure is designed by a team of educator moms who believe that an appreciation for literature can be fostered, cultivated, and extended through joyful educational activities. Lit League’s activity boxes can be delivered monthly, purchased as stand-alone units, or bought in thematic bundles of multiple boxes.
Each Lit League unit is literature based and multidisciplinary. In addition to a variety of language arts activities, boxes might include materials for math, science, art, social studies, wellness, and/or engineering activities, which are all connected to the box’s featured book.
Designed to foster a love of reading, each Lit League box includes:

- a high-interest picture (ages 3-9), early chapter (ages 5-9), or chapter book (ages 8-12)
- a title-specific vocabulary bookmark
- discussion questions and answers to support recall, build vocabulary, nurture reading comprehension, and encourage imaginative and critical thinking
- picture book boxes included thematic instructions for physical play
- 5+ age-appropriate activities related to the book and aligned with national learning standards
- instructions for implementation and differentiation before, during, and after reading each title, giving homeschool parents the tools and strategies needed to complete our educational lessons
- suggestions for 4 to 5 additional enriching extension activities
- additional thematic reading suggestions that can be used to build out a larger unit
- the tools to enjoy a shared family experience or participate in a book club with friends
